PvP options for level 11 prophecy players?
Hello,
So I dinged to 11 yesterday and I knew that I won't be able to play Ascalon Arena anymore but after just one day of no RA I have started to miss it I got into the habit of playing a few matches every 3 hours or so. So what options do I have for PvP at level 12? 1. Once while searching for a way to get to Lion's Arch I found http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Asca..._Lion%27s_Arch which says it could be a difficult run, and I spotted Shiverpeak Arena in the images. Can a level 12 get to this arena with henchmen, if not all the way to LA? The build listed on that page for W/Mo, I have only 2 of those skills >_> 2. I did Great North Wall and Fort Rainik missions. Will do Ruins of Surmia today. I read on wiki that when Nolani Academy mission is done, I will be transported to/near to Shiverpeak Arena Should I go ahead and do Nolani academy mission? How many missions between Surmia and Nolani? (I have Nolani outpost on my map, can map travel.) Thanks |

When you finish Nolani Academy you will be taken to Yaks Bend, an outpost that is directly attached to the Shiverpeaks Arena (like how the Ascalon arena is directly attached to Ascalon). I would definitely recommend doing the storyline missions to get there because you'll know what the story is, and also it would probably take less time to get there via the stoyline than just walking there (assuming you don't get a runner, which I wouldn't recommend anyway for a new player becuase you'll miss the storyline). Though if you have the Nolani outpost already, you can just skip a bit and do that mission to get to Yaks.
And I was just reading that the Shiverpeaks Arena will allow players upto level 15. Other than that I'm afraid there are few options until you get to level 20. :/ Last edited by Operative 14; Jan 01, 2009 at 08:53 AM // 08:53.. |

You could always just start a PvP only char and load up the same skill bar you currently use to play in real RA. While normally, your limited skill selection would be a handicap, that it's RA doesn't account for much.
Btw, if you're looking for a run to LA, you should check around the more populated districts in Ascalon. With Wintersday going on(and the finale today) there are a good number of folks doing free runs. |
